To be accredited as a Master Electrician you need to:

• Provide your contractor’s licence number
• Provide a copy of your public liability insurance
• Have at least three years’ experience in the electrical industry
• Implement an active safety management system (such as SafetyConnect, or equivalent)
• Adopt a quality management system that ensures a high-quality service to customers
• Demonstrate your commitment to providing customers with energy efficient options
• Provide customers with a minimum 12 month workmanship guarantee
• Comply with the Master Electricians Code of Ethics
• Provide 24 hour response in contacting the customer
• Submit audit details to show compliance with the above criteria prior to acceptance
